The best testimony to our experience is that we have spent our vacation at Olivia’s place for the fourth time. Plombagine Cottage is as described, very clean and superbly located – right on the ocean front. It was fully prepared for our arrival.
Very friendly neighborhood, with Smitty, host’s brother, being a great help and source of information. Good, reasonably priced local food across the street, small grocery store and bus stop 2 minutes away. Cottage is equipped with everything one needs to live including air conditioning in 2 bedrooms and living room as well as reliable internet WiFi connection.
Olivia is the best host we have ever dealt with during our travels – very accommodating, caring and very responsive. Camera with good zoom and binoculars are a must – plenty of birds and wildlife to watch including magnificent frigates, hummingbirds, monkeys, if one gets lucky – passing whales. Many points of interest to visit in case one finds spending time on the beach and in water too boring. Convenient bus transportation along western and southern coasts. Ventures to the island’s north, interior and east coast may require a bit of home work but here comes to help Smitty – one can rely on him hundred percent. If that is not enough one can refer to our reviews from previous years. Needless to say – we booked again for the next year.
