From what’s happening across the island to debating events unfolding on the international scene, John Moore Bar is that place for invigorating conversation and a super lively lime.

3. 1st and 2nd Street Holetown

Just a short 5 min drive south will land you at 1st and 2nd Street, Holetown.  Start at the beginning or start at the end- this U-shaped street is a hive of activity. Within walking distance of Plombagine Cottage, you will find the world famous Lone Star Restaurant.  The Lone Star serves breakfast from 8:30 am and lunch from noon. Lone Star is open all day for desserts and drinks, and dinner from 6:30 in the evenings. Its woodstone oven pizzas, burgers and fries, and fish and chips are also a hit with children.

2. Ju Ju’s Bar

Just a stone’s throw further south, you will find this casual restaurant, which is a hit with many of our guests. A one or two-minute walk along the beach will land you Ju Ju’s. Barbados Food and Rum Festival

The Barbados Food and Rum Festival kicks off this year from Thursday, 18 October 2018 to Sunday, 21 October 2018.  This four-day event will be a marriage of food and flavour. Patrons can look forward to an experience that will tantalize the taste buds and stimulate the senses.

The Barbados Food and Rum Festival commences with a Grand Opening and Oistins Bay Gardens Cook-Off.  Next is the Signature Rum Event which takes place on Friday evening, featuring an array of delectable dishes paired with Bajan rums.  Attendees at this event can expect to be delighted with samples of Mount Gay, Cockspur and other local spirits. This will also be an educational event. Patrons can also expect to learn how to pair rums, wines, and cocktails with meats for the best culinary experience.
