Reservation Policy

The following terms govern reservations made through plombagine.com:

1. Currency

All prices on this website are shown in United States Dollars. In the event that you need to calculate the rate in a different currency, you may Google the currency conversion. Due to fluctuations in conversion rates, we do not provide currency conversions.

2. Minimum Stay

Our minimum stay is 5 nights.  However, if you wish to book a period on our calendar which has less than 5 nights available, please send an email to [email protected] indicating your request. We will consider your request and revert to you.

3. Discounts

We post promotions from time to time. You may check the Special Offers page to see if there are any promotions that apply to your dates.  If you have a Coupon Code to receive a discount, you must enter the Coupon Code on the Booking Confirmation page. We do not apply discounts after confirmation of bookings.

4. Price

The Price of the reservation is the Nightly Rate plus fees and taxes. The Nightly Rate is the nightly price shown for the property at the time of booking. At the time of booking, we collect the full Nightly Rate plus the fees below:

4.1 Room Rate Levy

As per Barbados Government Policy, from 1 July 2018, a Room Rate Levy of 2.5% of the Nightly Rate is chargeable on vacation rentals. We collect the Room Rate Levy at the time of booking.

4.2 Service Fee

A small service fee is applied at the time of booking.  This service fee goes toward the cost of operating the website. It is therefore not refundable.

4.3 Transaction Fee

Bookings through this website are processed through a third party booking platform, such as PayPal. PayPal charges fees for processing bookings. The Transaction Fee goes toward the PayPal fees. It is therefore not refundable.

5. Credit Card Information

On confirming your reservation, you are taken to the PayPal website where you pay through your PayPal account. We do not obtain, capture, process or retain your credit card information at any time during the booking process.

6. Alteration of Reservations

You may alter the number of guests or the dates of your reservation at any time. In the event that you need to alter your reservation, simply send an email to [email protected] outlining your request.

6.1 Alteration of No. of Guests

You may increase the number of guests up to the maximum capacity for the property. We do not accept reservations which exceed the maximum capacity. However, an exception is possible for adding up to two children under 12 years of age.

6.2 Alteration of Dates

Alteration of dates are subject to availability. In the event that your new dates are not available, you may decide whether to keep the original dates or cancel the reservation.

Alterations which result in shortening of your stay will be treated as a cancellation of the shortened dates. The refund for the shortened days will be issued in accordance with our Cancellation Policy.

Payment for any alteration which results in an extension of your stay must be made in order to confirm the alteration.  The Nightly Rate at the time of alteration will apply to the additional dates only. The price for the original dates will remain as at the time of the original booking.
